Honey Teriyaki Salmon

I got the salmon from Sam's

1 big piece of salmon

I pour honey all over the salmon until it gets coated very well then I pour teriyaki (kikkoman) over the salmon. Next I place it on a baking pan (remember to put some foil on the bottom--it make the cleanup so much easier) ...remember to spray it w/ some pam ...

Put in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes...then u turn the oven to broil (please keep a very close eye on it ---cuz u dont want to burn it) . At the end sprinkle some green onion over the top...

I serve it w/ cucumber but u can serve it w/ cracker. I also take some of the juice and pour over the salmon pieces to make it moist.

Shrimp pico de gallo

2 lbs of shrimp (boiled, peeled and cut into little pieces)

2 avocado cut into little cubes

1 bunch of cilantro dice

1 jalapeno dices ( if u dont like it spicy then take out the seeds)

1 big bottle of already made salsa (from Sam's) I used the whole bottle

2 Tablespoon of cocktail sauce

4 cloves of garlic (diced)

2 green scallion cut into little pieces

1 teaspoon of sugar

salt n pepper to taste

served w/ chips

if u like it to be more spicy then add more jalapeno...

A New Start....

Many of my friends from facebook has asked me to start a blog about my food ...so after much thought I have decided to add food /recipe to my blog along with what I do everyday. I am also gonna try to blog everyday...so here goes....

I was suppose to take the kids today to the zoo so I invited my friend, Anessa and her little girl...Kenzie, w/ us. So we got up early and got ready...ate breakfast and we went get our daily fix of starbucks. But when we arrived at the zoo...I notice only a few cars then when we were walking up to the gate I realized that it was closed.....then it hit me that ....the zoo is closed on MONDAY....what a disappointment.....

So we headed to Semolina instead for lunch and then to target for some little shopping therapy...

Thanks Anessa for lunch and a great time at TARGET....we found some great things at TARGET...
