When we got up this morning getting ready to take Madison to school...right when we were walking out the door....it started to SNOW.....so BEAUTIFUL.
I went crazy w/ the camera...will post those pictures later. For now .....we are going to enjoy the snow. The last time that it snowed in New Orleans was in December of 2004....I was pregnant w/ Madison.
This year we decide to put up a xmas tree even though we know that it would be hard to keep Ethan away. So what we did was bought shatterproof ornaments and decorate the tree very simple. So far...he has been pretty good. He just like to knock down the choo choo train.
Tonight was a beautiful night to go see the lights at City Park...so we packed up the kids and headed to Celebration in the Oaks....Madison and Ethan had a great time on the train and carousel. We ended up buying the season tickets...I guess I know where we will be for the next few weeks...
Busy busy cooking for Ethan bday party tonight at 7:00 pm. Whats on the menu? We are having: Cold Spinach Dip Bake Salmon Burgers---salmon baked in tons of mayo serve on Krasier Buns w/ cucumber/lettuce/red onion. Chicken/sausage jambalaya Ceasar Salad Roast Beef Sandwich Cake from Marble Slab--Cheesecake Favor Tiramasu Cake from Olive Garden
Also trying to finished decorating the house and xmas tree...will post the pics of the xmas tree later. This year decided to go very simple b/c of Ethan...copper/brown balls w/ big white bows.
Mary and David had their reception at Panda King. It was a beautiful wedding......even thou it rain all day long. Madison had a great time w/ the candy bar and Ethan especially enjoyed the baby blue M&M. Thank you for having us at your beautiful wedding.Congratulation to the both of you.
Ethan is finally growing out his hair from the bald shave that he had a couple of months ago. He needed a little trim around the ears and the back. But this time he was not a happy camper...he did not sit still. We finally got it done after many tries.
Last night we took the kids to the open market here in Lakeview. On tuesday we found out that the open market was wednesday so we headed to Sam to buy the wagon so we can pull the kids around the market in it. They love it....they were testing it all night on tuesday. The weather was just perfect. We ate charbroil oyster from Drago...which Ted looks forward to everytime...hot sausage...pull pork from Cafe Adelaide..and freshly squeeze lemonade.
I can not believe 10 months ago I brought this 6 lbs baby home...now look at him. He brings us so much joy. He is always smiling and have so much LIFE in him. I love you so so so much my little man..He just made 10 months. 1. will not take a bottle 2. eats just about anything 3. trying to talk 4. have 8 little teeth 5. runs in his walker 6. does not crawl..but scoot 7. loves coke, diet coke....anything in a soda can 8. loves his bath 9. always smiling 10. big FLIRT
This past weekend we had Liz's babyshower at Bac Do's house. We had alot of fun and she got some really great things. She is having a baby girl!!! The theme color was "YELLOW" I made the diaper cake and Trinh made all the cute little cupcakes. Can't wait to see the little bundle of JOY!!!
Last night we took a little short drive to Biloxi and meet up w/ Bac Nick, Mary and David. We went to eat the seafood buffet at Imperial Palace....it was very yummy. They had pho, bun bo hue, oyster chao...and some yummy desserts. We had a really good time looking at all the old pics....
