1 box mix.. Zatarain's jambalaya mix
1 lb sausage
1 small onion-- chopped
1 small bell pepper
4 stalk of celery
1/2 stick of butter

Chicken or shrimp ...
I love it with rotisserie chicken shredded

Cook up the trilogy ( onion/celery/bell pepper)
Until it becomes translucent then pour in your 2 1/2 C of water
2 T of oil and cook on medium heat covered
Stirring occasionally
About 5 minutes before u turn off stove stir in your cook sausage and shredded chicken or shrimp
Garnish with green onion

I like to cut up my sausage & cook that first then set aside

U can also cut chicken into little cube and cook then set aside
